I'm not sure, but I think maybe Baxter was visiting my neighborhood and snatching some treasures before I could get there.

Or maybe it was Mike Cruz?

Awe, SNAP! I've been busted. Hey, the guy said FREE WOOD...I couldn't refuse. Besides, you know it wasn't Baxter because he'd be driving a VAN with the back bumper scraping the ground. ;)

What's a Spotted Baxter? Is that like a Spotted Owl?

Yep........great wood hauler! I especially like the way they removed the back window so they could utilize the trunk lid.....notice also how the trunk area is used to the maximum potential.................man, what would we do without good ole' redneck ingenuity?!

That wasn't me Mike. My car is white and still has the rear window. I am careful when I load. ;)
The last time I hauled wood from Oregon to Maine(a couple slabs of redwood and a few pieces of myrtle) was the early 80's in my diesel rabbit.:)

So it was Cruz after all!!!! At first I didn't think it was him as I assumed he'd have a roof top Luggage carrier with the lid missing.

We may need to contact Jeff Nicol that someone is trying to compete with his urban log hauler! I don't know Jeff...this has some points for pushing the envelope!

Front passenger seat area still has room! Not "truly" used to its potential, if you asked me. I mean, I didn't fully load it...sorry.

Once while deer hunting along the Klikitat River here in Wa State I came upon a group that was net fishing salmon from a series of low falls. They had busted the back window out of an old Cadillac, backed it up to the bank, and as they netted a fish, would throw it in. I'm sure this "wood hauler" looks as good, and I know it smells better than the old Cadillac!
