Do you folks know if the HF dust collector has a standard diameter filter? I want to get one and put a 1 micron or smaller canister filter on it, but I don't know if they're all standard sizes.

Yes you can get a 1 micron filter for it. :)

Put a Grizzly one on mine when I had it... fit right over and stayed put with the band..
