Having just looked at Roger Chandler's haul of Box Elder I wonder
how many clocks like this could be made from it.

I turned the base, then a rim and then a small rebate at the back
of the rim. Next I cut a disc of acrylic and drilled a hole in the
middle and pressed the clock in firmly.

Finally a few drops of Superglue and stuck the acrylic into the
rebate of the rim.

Overall it measures around 4½" high.

Any comments welcomed.

I really like this your turning looks great and I love this clocks style,I would have never believed it was only 4 1/2" high.I would have thought it to be more like 9" or 10" high.
