Those are good, solid no-frills drill presses. There must be millions of them around. I got one new around 25 years ago and it's still going strong; a year or so ago I did take the headstock apart and replaced the bearings, which made it much more quiet and enjoyable to operate. At one point I fabricated an intermediate pulley for additional speed reduction for drilling metal, and had no problem drilling 1/2 to 3/4" holes in steel flat bar; not all at once, of course, but in stages, but still it worked fine.

MIKE in South Africa all the tools are 220V and 380V for 3fase
The press was stored for 12 year
every metal parts was "paited" with grease so no rust but some degreaser did the job
The owner said i can have it IF i promis to look after it and if i will drill some holes for him if necessary

It's haunted.

None of the holes you're fixin' to drill will line up.
When you're away, and the nights are long, it will tell all your other tools that they're for sale.
