Looking for plans to make an elevated table of some sort that I can put my Dog's food and water bowls in. The old guy came down with Arthritis in his left front shoulder after a recent injury, and it is now difficult for him to lean down to eat and drink. No problem eating or drinking when the bowls are raised up .

Has anyone made something like this ?

Thanks ,

I made two of these, one for our dog and one for my daughter's dog. Height could easily be adjusted to suit you needs.

I made the top as a frame so I wouldn't waste as much wood with the cut outs for the bowls and I didn't want to deal with potential cupping. The legs are attached with pocket hole screws. They are bot about 7 years old and going strong. Be sure if you use red oak as I did that you seal it well with polyurethane as the dogs tend to slop water when they drink and it sits under the rim of the bowls for long periods of time. The stainless bowls were purchased from one of the pet Borgs.
