Yard sale find, but which plane?

Found a small block plane body at a yard sale the other day. Question is, WHAT Stanley plane is it?267309267310267311Just aft of the dimple, there is what looks like a 1/4 stamped into it, can't quite make out the rest ahead of it. Neither knob has any brass to it. Front knob just sits atop that boss, no adjustable mouth to this one.

18 1/4, maybe??

Yes. Definitely looks like an 18 to me, so if you can make out the "1/4" I guess that means it is probably and 18 1/4.

I have have a later edition knuckle cap on the way, and am watching a lateral bar on fleebay. Theiron will come from Home Despot @ #2.89 +tax. Base was just a dollar bill...
