Hmmm. I forgot to check if he had other items for sale. Probably has a specialty axe: the kind with a long, flexible metal blade with a serrated edge. They're designed to split wood in a very controlled manner.

Don't bother. I checked the other items, which run heavily to Judy Garland records and old magazines featuring Bette Midler and Liza Minelli, etc. Not that there's anything wrong with that! :rolleyes:

I was browsing in a used book store the other day and came across a woodworking book that described scrapers as being designed to totally replace sandpaper :rolleyes:
