Went to an estate sale and pick up everything for $2.50
2 Stanley 220 one in great condition after surface rust was removed the other one has the blade I need for another 220 I pick up last week for .50
and a Sargent 5206

Has anyone used a Sargent 5206?

Nice score. Hell, I would have paid that for the hammer :)...

Definitely something to gloat over.

Your location isn't in your profile and my memory is kind of blank on whether or not you told us in a previous post.

Mark, put the #4 in the evapo-rust for to long and that was all that was left.

I used evapo-rust on the Sargent and it turned out great, still have to put an edge on blade.

I have a lot of hammers but this one was to cool to pass up. Never seen a nail puller on the handle before, It look's like it came that way because they put a grove in the handle.

Jim I updated my user information. Thanks Jacob

That's not a damaged part. It's an "extremely rare early wood planer". I know because I saw one similar for sale on the interwebs.
