Cedar Bowl

I got this Cedar wood from a huge burn pile.
It measures 9" X 2 1 /2" with 1/2" walls.
Finish is just buffed on the Beall.

Nice figure in the wood Jim, and good curves make a beautiful bowl. I am suprised that it comming from a burn pile it was not full of cracks. I think you were lucky on this one.

Glenn I go to this burn pile about every other weekend to see what new wood has come in its a rather large pile now! It has grown into about 15' high 30' wide and 80' long. I don't attempt to get wood off the pile I try to catch it as they dump it out of the dumptruck before they take the frontend loader and pile it up on top. so its pretty fresh wood. I got some nice cherry and a few walnut logs this past weekend.:D
