Hey people,
I was wondering if anyone has installed the Grizzly 37" outfeed rollers (Made by HTC - Grizzly part#G1317) on a G0690 cabinet saw. There is a paper template included, and the instructions say to "set the base line on the template at 3 1/2" below the surface of the table." A couple of questions... Did you use the template to drill the holes or did you use your own system? How critical is the 3 1/2" measurement given in the instructions for drilling? The reason I ask is because my G0690 cabinet has three metal grommets for accessory hooks and if I set the base line at 3 1/2" then the outfeed frame rests smack on top of these grommets. If I move the thing up 1/4" it will miss the grommets entirely but I don't want to risk having the outfeed rollers to high! The grommets look like they are riveted in place so I don't think I can take them out without butchering the cabinet. I thought about installing the roller frame over the top of them but then the frame wouldn't be flat against the back of the cabinet and it might make the system out of plumb.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
