It looks like she combines Intarsia principles with woodturning. Very unique I must say. I have never been a big fan of wood turned art but her work I really impresses me for some reason. I think it is because of the some curves and use of wood tones to bring out the character in the piece. I bet she goes through a crap load of sandpaper!
