I'm building a cabinet with a drop front drawer and need a couple of the things in the picture. My problem is that I don't know what they're called so I'm having trouble searching for them. Anyone know what they're called? Or can give me a pointer to where I can buy a couple of them?

I believe they are called lid stays. Rockler has them.

Mike,
Some places call them lid supports. Here's one at Lee-Valley: http://www.leevalley.com/US/Hardware/page.aspx?p=40477&cat=3,41419
Woodcraft has similar devices under general hardware. They are called lid supports.
Woodworker's Hardware has them called curved lid supports: http://www.wwhardware.com/national-hardware-curved-lid-stays-sys259lp
Woodworkers Supply calls them "Friction lid supports".
Hardware Hut calls them lid stays: http://www.thehardwarehut.com/cabinet_lid_stays.php

Thanks, everyone (especially Ken). I found some now. Just needed to know what they were called.
