Hi, All,
I have acquired a breast drill that I am in the process of cleaning up for use. It is a two speed single bar handle, red drive gear, and black gear cover and breast pad. Wood crank handles. There are absolutely no markings on the tool save for a label remnant on the drive gear. I would date this tool somewhere between the 1930-1950 range.
All that can be made out is a large stylized 'W', the bottom of which is curved instead of pointed. (It could be an 'M' as well.) If necessary, I can provide a pic.
