Supposed to be milling this down, as the Boss wants and End Table made. Some will get ripped down the middle for apron stock. She also wants a drawer, or door? Planning stage is going on right now, I have a single "good" barin cell drawing up a "plan" for me. Neander-sketch-up....

To get rid of the cupping these wide old boards are showing, I have been splitting them right down the center line groove. Some were even starting to split there anyway. Dressed the edges266089until they were the same the entire length. Then a few swipes on the faces266090266091With a junior jack, and then a few swipes with the #6266092Like them shavings? Then, a few swipes with this little guy266093266094And the board is smooth, squared up, and ready to go.

Maybe tomorrow, I can get a little more of this Wood Porn done?

I kind of like that ribbon that the Smaller Jointer put out. Looks like it will level the face of a small panel real nicely. That Defiance has had it's Handles re-finished. Stripped off the old, flaky red paint, and found.......something red.
