And trying to find a charger for it. Small 7.2 v 600 rpm Makita. Charger plugs into the handle. Charger up and disappeared a couple of moves ago. Model number starts with a 60 - - SD. Keyed 3/8" chuck. Nice, light little drill, IF I can get it charged back up...

Ill bet you thats just a DC wall adapter and if you could find the output voltage spec somewhere (if not 7.2) you could just buy one at radio shack

Input: 115V AC 50/60Hz 4.5W
Output: 7.2V DC 300mA
There is your specs! Agree... Radio Shack or perhaps Amazon will be LOTS cheaper. Digi-Key also has a way wider selection.. picking the right connector is the trick! $7-10 + SH of course.

Hey Steven,
I have seen other dead drills just like it at thrift stores and the Habitat store. For a couple bucks you could probably find a dead drill with a good charger.

Next friday is payday, we have a Radidio Shack here in town. Might go check it out. Needs a chuck key, as well. #6010SW.
A secone Mikita needs a new charger, old one will not stay on to charge either battery. These are the LONG skinny one that goes in a long handle.. Alos a 3/8" chucked one. 9 volt
