I have a Wedding Pic that is about forty years old i am engraving for a customer. The bride is wearing a solid white dress. I am trying to get "some" detail of the dress to show up without putting to much contrast in the rest of the pic. Any Suggestions ????

Take it into a photo editing software and selectively change the color of the dress to be more gray. Good photos for engraving often look very poor to the eye. I'd make the dress darker. I use Photoshop for things like that, but PhotoPaint in corel should be able to do it.

There are allot of resources at Epilog. I am sure you know this already.... Here is just one of many. These are just the basic steps. Like Scott said selectively change the colors... It works for me..
