any one have a grizzly 1531 edgesander?

I just ordered one. I didn't get liftgate for $35, as it only weighs 220lbs. It will be my wfe and me, did i make a mistake about the lift gate?
Either of sons could unload it by themselves, but they won't be home when it comes.

I have one it came in 2 boxes.
I had it delivered to work. Used a forklift to take it off the semi and put it on my truck.
Had help getting it off my truck it was pretty heavy.
Do you have anything that you could use to slide it down on ? that might work .

That's odd. Specs say 1 220 pound box; you ssy 2 boxes and the shipping receipt says 330 pounds. I will give griz a call and see what is going on.

It might have been 1 box it has been awhile so i mught be thinking of how my jointer came to.

I ordered one earlier this year. Took it off my pickup myself. Lowered one side to the ground first. One box if I remember correctly. I needed help to get it out of the box and set it upright.

Griz says it absolutely weighs 220, but notes that it actually weighed 330 when they shipped it. He sugested I order lift gate and then complain if it actually is 220. Odd advice, but that seems to be the end of the line.

I started to get liftgate fron ups and found it wa $120! So I called Griz and got it for $35. Why isn't anything simple?
