I just finished the chest today.(except for the hardware) This will be the third chest that I have built, each time I have changed it a bit. It has eight drawers and a lid that opens at the top. The drawers are made with 1/2in maple plywood that ride on steel rails. It is finished with a minwax stain(pecan).

Jason,
That is a very nice looking chest!! You did a wonderful job on it.
Do you have any plans for it?

Hey jeff, I did not use a specific plan for this chest, but I have a Shop Notes Issue 49 that has a plan for a tool chest. Thanks for the reply!

Jason,
I remember your other chest.......this one is equally as nice!!! You've got a good nack going on there.
Looks terrific!!!

Well done, Jason! I particularly like how you continued the grain pattern to either side of the chest for the larger drawers. Shows great attention...Kinda' like a machinist would have!:D :)
