Has anyone ever seen 2 blower motors plumbed to one cyclone? I'm thinking of doing this with a 3hp motor/blower from a double bagger and a HF motor/blower. This would be connected to a clearview cv1800. I would have to build some sort of plenum to join the two 6" intakes to the 9" clearview opening. The exhaust from both would be vented outside (Florida)

Thanks.

Have a look at Stumpy Nubbs he did something like that on his cyclone build

Generally when I've seen it done it was with two same sized impellers and motors or a small inline on a long run to aid the main. I've not tried what you are suggesting but I'm assuming you are planning a push through with both impellers before the cyclone? Dave

Thanks for the replies, after a bit more research I'm going to stick with the way I have them set up now in their little outdoor shed. We were doing renovations on the house including making my shop bigger so I thought I would reorganize my dust collection. Worked great before so I guess I will stick with that. If it ain't broke....
