Grainy looking? Make sure you are in RGB and not CMYK, also slow down the speed and kick up the DPI, PPI on the laser to a higher resolution.

Martin I checked that and the speed right now is at 10 So I will take it down to a 3 and the DPI is at a 1000. Also would the lens have anything todo with it? right now I'm running a Hybrid Lens for both the CO2 and the Fiber?

I run with a standard 2" lens and can get pretty good results with small fonts. One other thing to try is to make a mark about 2 or 3 inches past both sides of the plate.
This helps as the head "ramps up and slows down to speed" as it gets up to speed before the "real" engraving and slows down after it, if that makes sense.
