There has to be some really hot Creeker out there.
We are hot and humid, but protected by a sea breeze at the moment. So I will start, knowing I will instantly be outdone:

Escondido, CA 91° Across town 95°

Can you stretch it a bit?

It's supposed to hit 98ºF later today......but Tuesday they are predicting 108ºF.

Its "only" 105 F here - a few hours before the hottest part of the day. Already broke the expected high for the day.

Supposed to be hotter tomorrow.

It is 120 F in Palm Springs - expected overnight low of 90 F -

Congratulation, Greg. You are in the lead. Until we hear from our Phoenix woodworkers.

It's 110 right now here at the house here on the Far west side of las vegas. It's usually warmer on the strip and east side of the city.

114° here at 2:52 pm, forecast high is 118° to 120°. Needless to say, I opted for housework today instead of shop work, as I'm sure it's well over 120° in the shop right now!

Now we are talking some real numbers, Kathy! Maybe you could go outside and chainsaw a few bowl blanks .

It is 113 degrees as we speak. My grandson who is visiting wanted me to help him build a birdhouse so that is what we did, heat and all. Yikes!!!

It's 78 in my AC'd basement shop. I stripped down to a short sleeve shirt and bermuda shorts, because I like to tough it out.

Only hit 97F here, supposed to keep getting hotter though but I don't reckon I'm beating the temperatures from AZ.

As an aside I lived for ~5 years in Phoenix with no air conditioning (eventually turned it on when the dogs showed up cause I felt sorry for them), some folks said I was crazy other folks said I was insane but in reality once you get used to it it isn't all that bad.

It is very nice here in Minnesota. It was about 78 degrees with low dew point today. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny, high of 82 degrees, and dew point about 50 degrees.

I'm headed out to Reno, NV in about two weeks to camp out in the desert. Average highs are only in the mid 90s, but I'm hoping the temps aren't well above average. Highs are running around 105 right now. I'm actually adding another A/C to my motorhome for the trip. I still think 105 and low humidity is better than 90 degrees and high dew point.

75 degrees here right now, no breeze whatsoever, humidity is very comfortable!!! BUT, you cannot stand to be outside very long as the 'squitos will carry you away and then roll dice for your clothes!

Will 120 degrees kill them? , if so send some my way (for an hour or two).

Two A/C units for less than 100 square feet? Is the building insulated?

Certainly not here. It is only pushing toward 90º.

Lucky for me, my shop is shaded by trees most of the day and is one of the coolest places on the property.

It seems kind of strange to me up here in the northern latitudes. It is cool in the shade but step into the sun and you can immediately feel the heat of the rays.

Air conditioning is expensive to run.
That explains why you can afford all those deluxe woodworking machines in your current shop:)

I spend the money where it adds the most value to my life  A little suffering in the short run sometimes pays off in the long run. On the flip side my Mom was pretty unhappy with me when I didn't have a phone for a year after I got out of college (hey there are still letters..)!! She eventually got over it though.

Personally I probably still wouldn't run the AC much but LOML has other ideas and I do feel sorry for the pups, so I give in for their sake (not that they're spoiled ...). Broke 104 at my house today, I gave up at about 11:00 when I couldn't see cause my glasses were filled with sweat and we went up the mountain to get a little cooler air. Looking forward to the heat breaking next weekend!

It was about 30 last weekend and like a true idiot, I was out in a parking lot milling logs.

I have the sunburn to prove it.

Not as hot as some of the temperatures mentioned in this thread however.............Rod.
