Incra Miter Express Sled Question

I decided to buy an Incra Miter Express from Amazon and noticed that other shoppers also purchased another hold down clamp. I have never used a sled and wondering if those of you that have them use an extra hold down clamp. I will be using the sled with my Incra 1000SE.

I don't use any clamps with mine. Just hand pressure on the piece I am cutting to size and never a problem.
