Stand for Jet 1221VS

Anyone had hands-on with the stand Jet sells for the 1221VS? At $349 it seems like a lot of $$ for what it is. Is the stand worth buying, or should I just build one instead?

I didn't waste my money on one. I built one for my Jet 1220 VS. Cost me $55. There are several stands online you can build.
