I took some turnings to the local Art Center last week, after reviewing them for a few days the Director purchased everything out-right,http://www.penturners.org/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif except for my penshttp://www.penturners.org/forum/images/smilies/confused.gif. They did take eight of them on consignment but it was only because they were part of my bottle stopper display. This picture of the display is dated and may not contain the actual stoppers and pens they kept.

In detail, they took 12 miniature ornamental birdhouses and this display:
It includes most of the ornaments but is also a dated pic,

8 pens some of which are in the first pic, and three vessels one of which was a box.

And finally to the subject of this post. They ordered 6 more bottle stoppers. I am going to let them select from these 7.

All are finished with a primer coat of thin CA then lightly sanded and 2 final coats of Deft RC Lacquer.

Congratulations on the acceptance of your pieces......they all look really good, JD. I like your finish on the bottle stoppers and the antler is a nice touch for the rednecks among us! :D A very nice display as well.......looks like you are off to the races!

Nice looking wares and displays! Best of Luck with the sales. Are you using anything other than friction fit to adhere your silicon stopper to the dowel?

I like that display JD! And in a sheepish and shameless moment, using acrylic pen blank cutoffs as finials for stoppers is a great idea!!
