I inherited a Delta benchtop belt/disk sander that the prvious owner left at our house and didn't want back because it didn't work. It turns out that it just needed a new power cord. I used it for the frst time this weekend and it is a handy thing to have around. I need to get some new belts and pads for it.
In researching, there are a lot more options than I expected. I get the different grits, but it turns out that there are so many options with prices ranging from $6.. to $25 for a 6x48 belt.
I don't mind spending money for belts and pads that last longer and represent good value. What do I need to know before buying? I'd be interested in experienced opinions.
