cabinet base for basement vanity

I need to build a bath vanity for a basement bathroom that may occasionally see some moisture on the floor (not deep). I want to build it on a separate base. Does anyone have an idea for the base material, something that takes a screw, and will not transfer the moisture up to the cabinet?

For boats, they sell King Starboard, a structural plastic, but I am looking for something much cheaper. Maybe PVC trim material?

or something similar. They can be hidden behind a kick plate, and they have the added advantage of enabling you to level the cabinet on the basement floor (all the basement floors I've ever dealt with have had dips and dives in them).

When putting a small vanity in rentals, I simply nail plastic chair feet to the bottom of the case, this keeps it off the floor about 1/4". Then finish off with plastic baseboard that won't rot. I like the Styrofoam better than the real hard plastic type.
