I carved these legs out of walnut this week. It was a bit of a rush job as they needed them to finish up a bathroom vanity.
Here again my use of templates that I covered in another post came in handy for a project like this. Fairly straight forward as it's mainly band sawing and router work, but interesting I hope.
I do so many of these I've got them down to a science.

Very nice Mark, sort of a Gothic, almost Deco design and clear details. Based on the subject line, I was a bit disappointed this post had nothing to do with fancy pirates...

Pirate legs,,,hmmm.
Maybe an alternative to the Elephant legs I did some time ago. They were fun and in Walnut as well.
