I have just signed up for the Dteroit Maker Faire in late July and am looking for unusual laser cut ideas. I have quite a few items using the flexible hinge, some wine rack stuff etc but am looking for anything with gears, lamps, etc patterns that are in corel. I have corel x4 and a 24x36 120 watt laser so if someone has a design they are willing to share I would appreciate the file. I will gladly share any of the files I have. This is an opprortunity to expose my shop to 100,000 people in 2 days, I think it is worthwhile and there are Maker Faires all across the country.

Bill, have you been on the instructables website? If not, give that a try. There are loads of things created by people that are "Makers" themselves. I've seen some really cool laser projects there over the years, and most all of them share the files. I don't have any of the files, but I do know I've seen some cool things.

Google under scroll saw patterns, there are tons of things out there. If you have a Rockler or a Woodcraft nearby they usually have a handful of patter magazines.

Here's everything at Thingiverse that's supposed to be producible with a laser cutter:

There's going to be a lot of non-Corel files, but you should be able to import many of them.
