Hi everyone
I have a few ideas for my version of the Eames/Herman Millar surfboard coffee table.
One of them uses epoxy resin on the top. I also want it on the exposed edges too, but it didn't seem to come out the best on the first try. It really absorbed the epoxy into the edges and I didn't get that smooth-as-glass look on the sides....Would it be better to seal the edges first with poly or shellac - then put the epoxy on? (I've read the other posts about de-waxed shellac on edges then sand with 400g btw coats).
Any ideas?
Thanks everyone...
