How it's made-Morgan car with a wooden frame!

Did anyone else see the "How it's made-Morgan car" show? The car is made in England by hand and much of the frame is wood! In fact they use a 60 year old jig to bend some of the wood. Very interesting show and I was completely surprised to see any car still made by hand

they dip the whole wooden frame in some kind of preservative

The frame (chassis) is aluminum. The wood is backing for the body. The wood is completely dipped in a vat of preservative and allowed to dry.
