Sweet. A couple years ago PWW held a contest for the best bottle opener folks could make out of stuff they has in there shop. I got honorable mention with a bottle opener made from a BORG block plane and an old cabinet hinge.

I also made a super corny video of mine in use. Its on my blog that I can't link to (against the rules) but if you google "griggs valley block plane bottle opener" it comes up on google.

(P.S. I do not recommend otherwise exploring my blog. I don't really post to it except as a place to have things available for my own reference and most of what is there is seriously outdated. Of course, if you are really bored and are in the mood to be thoroughly unimpressed you are free to look around it)
