Who made this plane and when?

Who made this plane? I picked it up at a yard sell. There is surface rust but only a couple of small pits.The blade has lateral adjustment but no frog adjustment screw.I can't find any numbers or lettering any where but the NO 6 on the toe.Its mushroom knob is 2in across at the widest part.I need to replace the knob and tote and the thread and nuts.
