This is the box elder(14" x 5") that I dropped Pearl Ex colors on described in another post. Simply tap an artist brush loaded with color suspended over the upside down bowl.The lighter wood seemed a better back round, and the size of the bowl allowed more of the cascading color. The technique is very easy and by tilting the bowl could change the entire outlook of the piece. Different types of powders or material could also be used. Comments and suggestions always welcome.
