This is my first real success at milling steel on a Rong Fu clone. This is a T Nut for a Phase II Quick Change AXA tool post for my Craftsman metal lathe. They come huge and you are expected to make them fit your post. Got it done today.

Thank you Joe. Mills are awesome!! You can dial it right in.

Here is this weeks project.

DIY Shumatech DRO550 and some iGaging (Cheap Chinese) 21bit scales I just assembled and got loaded up. The project uses an ARM processor and opendro software. Pretty trick setup!! Pic showing 3 12" but the mill's X will get a 24" scale. Bought a 36" and 12" scale for the lathe as the price was super awesome.

Next up will be a DRO for the lathe based on the same igaging scales and an Arduino Uno/Bluetooth/and an Android Tablet.
