Well I finally got my Corian shop sign installed. Now I guess I will have to start referring to my "shop" as my "studio" :D :D

Very nice sign, Ken!
I'm pleased to see "Shop", not "Shoppe" ! :D

Ken,

That is too purdy to be a woodworking shop :D

Nice job!

The sign is about an inch thick, and heavy, too. Looks good, Ken!

Hay, didn't anyone notice that Ken has an awning over the entry door? And that looks like a garage door to the right - very classy entry, Ken - the sign is beautiful and while I saw it on Saturday, it looks absolutely great on your shop door. Thanks for the opportunity to see it installed - I'll bet you're glad you traveled so far to pick it up.

By the way, the sign over my shop (garage) door is "2" - the street address, no other signs permitted, so I am glad that I did not win one at the Swap Meet 'cause I would not know what to design - besides, what would I have read at the hotel on Saturday night (I won a Woodcraft mag issue).

I doubt anyone noticed at the SwapMeet but I haven't had the time to make a sign for my workshop yet. My sign is just around the corner though and it will take a seismic hanger to hold it up when I get it ready to hang :)

I'm thinking triple Corian, very old fashioned 1700's style with a black wrought iron hanger and gold finials. Pictures will be forthcoming very soon!

Ken and Terry, your signs look great on your workshops and you can't beat the warranty. Did I mention the warranty? Both signs are guaranteed for life....my life not yours...enjoy!

Greg,

I made both Kens's and Terry's signs. Both were laser engraved white Corian on gray Corian backer plates. Check the Laser Woodworking Forum, we have a list of engravers who are all accepting jobs these days and there should be one in your area.

If you can't find someone to do the job contact me via Private Message.
