Hi All,
I seem to have an issue which is different to the normal one. Instead of not turning on my laser will not turn off! It is a F48-2-115S/2029 manufactured April 24,1995. I have checked the control signal (universal laser system) with a scope and in the off state it is putting out the correct tickle pulses (adjustable width at 5khz) but even with this unplugged the laser is on! Only way to shut it off is to unplug power.
It is not on at full power as it cant cut what it usually cuts but enough to burn paper etc. I assume something wrong with the RF board internal to the laser but has anyone experienced this before?
