Turners to visit in Israel

This may be a little beyond the geographic reach of SMC, but I'm going to be in Israel for a week or so and want to know if there are any turners in the area, or enclaves of good woodwork outside the usual tourist kitsch.

I found an Israeli woodturning site, but it looks dormant for a few years.
