This is a pretty basic hollow form from green-turned madrone. After three weeks the grains were closed the point that a corduroy-texture developed, which I think is kinda neat. Of course, it has the usual warping and distortions. The lacing around the opening is leather. The size is 13" wide by 11" tall. It was purchased by a local couple who have several of my pieces displayed in their home.
