Can you spot the one thing that does not belong?

Could be the axe. All the other cutting tools have teeth.
Or it's the hacksaw. All the other saws are made for cutting wood.

btw..what's the handsaw in the background? I like the handle, and I believe I see a nib. Of course, that could be the one that's different too. It's a lot older than the rest of the tools.

I was thinking the Studebaker sign. The rest are all hand tools.

I'm guilty of using a hacksaw to cut wood but thankfully not that often. It's either that or the car sign.

What about the glue on the parallel clamps?

All I can say is that your shop is much too neat.

Where is the fire extinguisher?
I keep bandaids next to my bench...

The lever cap, without the rest of the plane.

Too many back saws. At least ONE of them belongs in my shop. ;)

As rainman would say, definitely a #7, definitely...definitely...yeah. (though it could be a competing brand copy of one, too, maybe the only american handsaw in the lot)

+1 on the Studebaker.

+1 on the Studebaker. Well that is the obvious answer, and is correct, but I was thinking that all the saws were English pattern, except for the frame saw - German pattern.

And I thought it was the red plastic mallet.

+1 on the Studebaker. My son is 10, and every time he sees or hears the word Studebaker he laughs, must think it's a funny word. My dad bought a '54 Hawk brand new, and I had a couple of friends that owned Avanti's, both original and remakes. Great Industrial Designs.

I don't care what ya say, it's still the hacksaw!

Some tools are behind other tools thereby making it difficult to acquire them when needed with only one hand.

Yes, the hacksaw is hanging differently than all the others. That is true.
