I am getting ready to start a couple projects that would be immensely improved with the addition of some veneers. I need a good source for paper-backed veneers.

Thanks for you assistance!

Plus, Ive done well on eBay. JSO Wood Products is one seller I've bought a few times from.

I've used veneer supplies as mentioned. Joe woodworker's site. Great to work with and great stuff. I used his plans/parts to build my vacuum press.

Why paper backed Ken? Most professionals avoid it if at all possible. Wood on wood is so much better if you need large sheets. I especially dislike paper backed as it is much thinner than raw. I've read so much about adhesive failure with the paper, some problems from the manufacturer, others caused by finishes.

Here is one I used about a month ago. They were the least expensive and I received great service. The oak veneer came in quickly and was a very nice product. I will use them again next time I need something they carry.

I ordered some birds-eye maple veneer, some inlay materials and other veneering supplies from VeneerSupplies. I was impressed with the information at JoeWoodworkers website and felt I the need to support him by buying from his other business. Everything arrived today. I was impressed with the service and I was especially impressed with the quality of the veneer. For my first veneer project, I feel the quality is great!

I will let the materials acclimate in my shop for a couple weeks and then begin to learn a few things about veneering and inlaying.

I like to do business with JoeWoodworker when I can. Nice fellow and excellent service. Get on his mailing list...sometimes the deals are really great, too.
