Memorial Day

Like so many others of my generation, I lost several HS classmates in the Vietnam War. IIRC, 3 of my HS graduating class of around 120 students died there.

Memorial Day is the day set aside to honor and remember those of my brothers-and-sisters-in-arms who didn't survive and paid the ultimate price.

You and your service will never be forgotten.

I agree with you, Ken. Many well-intentioned folk tend to roll living veterans into Memorial Day and although I appreciate their intent, our day is in November. This day is for those who gave the ultimate.

God bless them all and thanks for making our country where I want to live.
