Quick question,
couldnt find the 50 pk lens cleaning tissue that i got with the laser. What i found was pre-moistened lens wipes. Are these ok for my mirrors? if so should i still put a drop of my kodak cleaning solution on the mirror first or are these ok to use without.
it says glasses, camera lens, cd's.
thanks

I would like to know what is used for the "moisture" on these tissues. I have always used reagent/ACS grade acetone and then a cotton ball and finally the tissues. Been doing it this way since 1995.

In a pinch, I have gotten a bottle of Everclear, pure grain alcohol at the liquor store and would moisten a high quality Q tip with it and clean the lens/mirrors with a rolling motion rather than scrubbing it. Make sure you don't use too much as the lens will crack if it is still wet and you run the beam through it. I have used lZeiss ens cleaning tissues with no ill effects also.l
