Just wondering. Once Euro guides are properly positioned, do they usually rotate with the blade, or would that indicate that they are too close to the blade? I would imagine that they should remain stationary.

They would not rotate when the blade is running unless the blade is moved laterally due to the tensions of cutting. Then they spin so there is no meaningful friction. Same goes for the thrust bearing. It doesn't move unless you are in a cut and the blade is being pushed back slightly due to the nature of the cut. Euro guide are generally set using the "dollar bill" method of spacing away from the blade.

I figured they were designed to work similar to the thrust bearing, but needed confirmation. Thanks.
