Post war - blue paint on body and brown paint on frog. Birch tote and knob I replaced with some rosewood out of my parts box.
Dunno what the fuss is all about....never rehabbed a newer plane commonly poormouthed....but all this one needed was 5 minutes flattening on the jointer table with 220 wet-or-dry and sharpening. Sole was pretty flat and frog pretty true.
