Here is a Chrome Slimline I finished yesterday. It's Sycamore and Walnut. The blank took about 2 days to make but turned out quite well. It's finished with 8 coats of CA.

I like the stretch on the cross Donny, For a slim...heck of a job! On the next one...try and bring it down a bit ...maybe half the overal length and see what happens

Thanks, I was just playing around to see what I could make. I think I like doing segmented work. It adds character to a plain looking blank.

See the attached link to an article in Woodturning Design Magazine by Kurt Herzog about eliminating the center band. I haven't tried this yet, but definitely will. It might work nicely with your segmenting blanks.
