Hi to all,

I am having problems with this thing. I need some advices:
- how deep do you engrave?
- how do you manage to fill only lasered areas;
- what kind of paint do you use?
- spray, brush or airbrush?
- how do you clean after?
- with what?
- what is best acrylic (extruded or cast - clear or colored)
I read most of the related threads but still...
What I really want to see is a tut with images for ebery process if somebody has or done one

Thank you for your time
Gabi

If you're reverse engraving (that is, engraving on the back side of the material) then you need extruded material - if you engrave cast acrylic it will engrave white and you won't see through the material to see the paint fill. If front engraving and paint filling, it's best to mask the material first with standard paper masking then etch through. THe depth will depend on the type of paint you use - thick paints will need a deeper etch.
