I currently have a 705 which I am, after over a decade, still very happy with. I'm looking for a jobsite saw, so that the 705 can get set up as a permanent shop saw.

I would go with the Hitachi-great saw. Nothing wrong wth a DW either, I just prefer Hitachi

The Dewalt has better reviews. Either way, be sure to use a 10% off coupon.

I picked up the dw715 around xmas for $199.00 at Lowes. It was marked down that low for only a few days. I picked up the LED light guide off Amazon and its been a great saw. I have it on a Ridgid MSUV and have used it mostly for exterior trim.
