I have a customer that brought me a what looks to be a gift tag , possibly a luggage tag made from what he said is wood, but kinda feels like tyvek that's wood colored, it has a grommet in it , I can engrave it ok, but it's struggle to keep it flat. I would like to try to offer him something i can get in larger sheet size so I can engrave and cut out, of course they won't be the grommet but I dont think it's a deal breaker. They want 1500 pcs.

Look over on the sign forum.

Al Ursich has posted several things using dye sublimation which sound like they might work for you.

Greg;
What sizes/thicknesses are you looking for? Species?
Check Friends of The Creek for thin wood

I must be getting old. I've used a lot of George's wood and found it to be superb.
