We had to drive down into Oregon Monday for an appointment. We took the scenic route home. We stopped in at one of our favorite antique malls and came home with these:

The brace is a Stanley 913-8" with a $2 tag on it. Even though the chuck was stuck I took a chance. Someone just cranked it closed real tight.
The plane at $15 had me hesitating, but what the heck. Without even sharpening the blade it makes great shavings so for me it was a good buy. This one has a step on the side opposite the escapement:

A bit of a different configuration from my other H&Rs. The blade measures 11/16". It appears to have BUTCHER stamped into the tang. The wedge needs a little work or replacement. This one fits so well I am thinking of trying to just glue the crack closed.
There was also a rabbet plane for $15. It looked like the sides were sanded and it had a lot of worm holes. Since similar sized rabbets are already in my shop it was left behind.
