The saw shown is one I've had for a few years, but it had issues.

The teeth were irregular and somewhat gappy. I have been frustrated wih it.

It has now been severely jointed, retoothed, sharpened, and set.

It now cuts straight and quickly.

It's been a fun project. I retoothed it with patterns shown. Thee are for 12 tpi and are paper on carpert tape.
The strips are cut and stuck on the side of the newly jointed saw plate. Then the teeth are filed using the
stick on pattern as a filing guide. I set the teeth with a screwdriver (ala Frank Krausz).

I used the new LV filing guide to set the rake at 8 degrees. I enthusiastically (sp?) recommend the guide. IT WORKS!

Looking good!

Nice to have a saw you have rehabilitated that works well, right?

Did you create your own filing pattern?

One of my saws started out as just a saw plate much like yours. It is now one of my most used saws for small cuts.

I set the teeth with a screwdriver (ala Frank Krausz).

That sounds like a real exercise in hand control, any pictures?

Did you file in any fleam?

It's a rip pattern, thus no fleam.

I made the filing pattern on AutoCad and plotted it on 11X17 paper.

A slow learning execise, no pictures other than what I posted.

It's very saisfying to do and have. It's cut approaches the LN saws I have. One of the advantages of having quality saws is that you have something to compare to.

I can make any tpi wanted.

Thanks for the kind words.
